Jock White Memorial Field Days 2017
In the true spirit of amateur radio, North Canterbury Amateur Radio Club Branch 68 will participate in this annual event on 25 and 26 February. This year to be held at Ron's QTH ZL3RCK in White Rock. All are encouraged to participate or come and have a look, albeit setting up or operating and CW is definitely on the menu this year, plenty of opportunity for all. The plan is to operate two stations, 40 and 80 meters, 1st half of the hour SSB and the second CW. Hopefully the weather will been kind to us and there will be a barbecue planned, however we might need some assistance on the catering side as the XYL will at work both days, we see how it goes :). The contest is all about having lots of fun and enjoyment, and setting up a radio station can run for the duration off-grid and participate making contacts with other Branch and Home stations in the south pacific region. Something to look forward to, make a note in your calendar see you there. Ron ZL3RCK.
MORE OPERATORS NEEDED have a go.
